MIDI Mimic is built for VJs who already have a working setup and want to push it further, not start over.

Build new pages on your controllers: use dynamic parenting to organise new outputs or behaviour changes as needed
Cross-controller integration: assign SHIFT key systems from one device to change what happens on another.
Native feedback handling: get instant feedback changes on page changes based on a downstream last-known-value array.
Prebuilt helpers: Set pads to toggle as a group, cycle through different outputs on each press of a single button, organise your haptics into groups as needed and assign default Cue and Action settings to all of them, then drill-down and customise each haptics as needed.
Playful extras: Turn your fader’s motion into a momentary pad, send strobing midi to any parameter downstream.
Quality of Life: Use Debounce to only update feedback after changes have finished changing (to avoid glitchy/fighting values) and use Pickup to allow you to move faders and encoders up to the position of the parameter they’re controlling if out-of-alignment, no more stepping values on “selected clip” dashboard dials!

If you’re running Resolume on Windows 11, you’re good to go. Mimic uses Windows MIDI Services to create virtual devices, and the installer will prompt you if you’re missing any dependencies.

Alpha testers:

A limited number of free Alpha licences are available while Mimic is in early development. Alpha testers can get full access to all features and updates through to 1.X. Once the Alpha closes at v0.3, no new spots will be added. There is a Discord for the Alpha that will remain open.
